Members of the Flagler Beach and Bunnell fire departments recently hit the streets to fill their fire boots with donations to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

This year’s boot drive brought in $3,337 from Flagler Beach and $386 from Bunnell.

Thousands of fire fighters nationwide have been contributing to association in various capacities since 1954. Funds raised by the fire fighters give the association the means to continue providing direct services, research and professional and public health education.
