The following is an adapted press release from the city of Palm Coast:

The city of Palm Coast, partnering with the Friends of Tennis, will host a USPTA Junior Futures event Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Palm Coast Tennis Center.

Youth players who are not quite ready to compete at the national USTA level can register to play in specific divisions for boys and girls U10, U12 and U16.

The new 10-and-under format of play will be featured using smaller court dimensions and low-compression balls. All players will receive a commemorative T-shirt, and the top three players will receive awards. The tournament begins at 10 a.m. Entry fees are $15.

The Palm Coast Tennis Center is located at 1290 Belle Terre Parkway. Plan to register the young tennis player in your family to compete in this unique tournament. For details and registration information, call the Tennis Center at 986-2550.
