Members of Girls in Action, at First Baptist Church of Palm Coast, returned from a successful mission trip. They loaded up 160 pairs of flip-flops, for children in Guatemala and Haiti, to take to a Baptist Mission Jamboree, at Westview Baptist Church, in Sanford.

This was a short-term mission project sponsored by First Baptist, and the congregation rallied to help them collect the shoes in only six days.

Shoes for third-world countries prevent illness and even death.
