In an online poll among 136 Flagler County Tea Party members, Bill McGuire leads incumbent Holsey Moorman, 115 to 21. That gives McGuire 84.6% of the votes, compared with 15.4% for Moorman, in the Palm Coast City Council District 1 race.

Among 137 tea partyers, in the District 3 race, Dennis Cross received 81 votes, or 59.1%, compared to Jason DeLorenzo, who received 56 votes, or 40.1%.

Flagler County Tea Party Chairman Tom Lawrence noted in his email to tea partyers: "We had fewer members participate in this poll than in the mayoral poll! The mayoral race was decided by approximately 10% of the registered voters. Let’s do our part in creating a respectable turnout by all Palm Coast tea party members voting."

Early voting begins Oct. 24.
