In Palm Coast, more than 20 people were waiting in line before 8 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at the corporate AT&T store to get their hands on Apple’s next-generation handset.
People lined up early in the morning outside the corporate AT&T store, in the Palm Harbor Shopping Center, waiting for the doors to open. They were about to get their hands on Apple's latest slice of technology — the iPhone 4S.
Last week, Apple announced it sold more than 1 million iPhone 4S units across 100 world carriers in 24 hours. That is compared to 600,000 units across five launch countries in June 2010, when the California-based company released the iPhone 4.
