Tara Lacasse, daughter of Bob and Jennifer Lacasse, of Bunnell, recently got engaged to Bobby Malesra, son of Edul and Maharukh Malesra, of Palm Coast.
Both grew up in Palm Coast and graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School. Now, Lacasse works as the marketing administrative manager at MediQuick Urgent Care Centers, and Malesra is a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
On the seventh anniversary of their relationship, after dinner in St. Augustine, Bobby led Tara to the “Love Tree,” an oak tree with a palm tree growing through the center. Legend says that if you kiss under this tree, you will stay together forever. Of course, the two had kissed under it years ago. This time, under the tree, Bobby got down on one knee and proposed.
