Francoise Pecquer, 76, was walking in the C-section of Palm Coast Nov. 10, when she was struck and killed by Jamesine A. Fischer, 55, in a PT Cruiser.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 on Columbia Lane, near Colechester Lanes. Jamesine Fischer was traveling northbound and for an unknown reason did not see Pecquer.
The vehicle struck Pecquer and propelled her onto the east shoulder of the road. The case remains under investigation.
Fischer is the wife of Flagler County School Board member John Fischer.
