The Flagler County Radio Aero Modelers club, a group of remote-controlled plane enthusiasts, will hold its next membership picnic Saturday, Nov. 5. It is a free event, including barbecue and remote-controlled airplane aerobatics, open to anyone in the community interested in learning more about the RAMS.

Members will begin taking their planes into the sky at 9 a.m., and begin serving food at noon.

Many of the clubs longest standing members will also be present, to share stories and fly their small-scale flier replicas, some as large as 10 feet wide.

Palm Coast Mayor Jon Netts and Flagler County Board of County Commissioners have also been invited.
