A countywide Memorial Day Service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 30, in front of Flagler County’s Government Services Building.

Presented by the Flagler County Commission and the Veterans Advisory Council, the ceremony will feature guest speaker Col. Kevin Murphy of the Florida Army National Guard. Most of the Veterans organizations in the county are participating in this event, as well.

Also in attendance will be the Flagler Palm Coast High School Formality Singers, to belt out Americana songs. Girl Scouts from the Golden Sands chapter of the Girl Scouts of America will place a wreath, and 7th Judicial Circuit Judge Raul Zambrano will play taps on a bugle.

The ceremony will be held in front of the GSB, at the Flagler County Government Center, 1769 E. Moody Blvd., on State Road 100, in Bunnell. Refreshments will be served.
