+ Fourth-grader receives Kumon math award
Andoni Alfonso recently became the first student at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Palm Coast to receive his “G By 5” award.

The fourth-grade student is currently working on simplifying and solving algebraic equations.

The “G by 5” award is given to all students enrolled at Kumon Centers who are able to study algebraic concepts in Kumon’s math Level G before completing fifth grade. 

+ MHS hosts ESE Field Day
The second-annual ESE Field Day will be held 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 11, at Matanzas High School.

The Special Olympics-style event has been jointly planned with Flagler County Schools Exceptional Student Education Department and Special Olympics Flagler.
