To date, more than 34,000 service members have been wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. These injuries often leave soldiers unable to care for themselves. The Wounded Worrier Project provides programs and services to assist injured veterans and their families during the recovery, rehabilitation and transition.

The Possums of Palm Coast Youth Lacrosse are planning a care and bike showcase which will allow them to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project.

“This will be a great opportunity to show your ride and support the men and women that have sacrificed so much unselfishly to protect our freedom,” said Greg Kong, event director.

The Show Your Ride Car and Bike Showcase will be held Feb. 26, at City Market Place, 160 Cypress Point Parkway.

The cost is $15 to enter a “ride” in the showcase. To enter, call 931-6004 or e-mail [email protected]
“On behalf of the injured service members, we want to thank Possums Palm Coast Youth Lacrosse for their dedication to our nation’s heroes,” Wounded Warrior Project Executive Director Steven Nardizzi said. “Their commitment is helping ensure the tremendous personal sacrifices service men and women make for our country are not forgotten.”
