Matanzas science teacher Windy Vidor and her students were awarded a $2,000 grant to continue their projects.

The class partnered with University of Florida Extension Service of Flagler County to write an application for the grant, which is provided through the Flagler County Education Foundation and their partnership with the ATT STEM grant program.

Students will design and construct drip irrigation systems to grow food crops that will be powered through the construction of solar energy panels.
