Diana Minotti Fine Art, Antiques & Collectibles, an estate liquidating company, uncovers rare finds in Flagler.
Diana Minotti, owner of estate-sale-liquidating firm Diana Minotti Fine Art, Antiques & Collectibles, has been busy. In operation since 2005, the 10-employee company has recently been uncovering more and more rare and valuable items in residents’ storage spaces, attics and homes.
Minotti’s latest find was a 15th-century stained glass window from France.
According to Minotti, a 17th-century Italian-carved wedding chest was also found, as was a 17th-century oil and copper piece and a 12-foot-long carved relief of the Last Supper.
“There’s a lot of fabulous, fabulous stuff, right under our noses,” she said. “And a lot of the stuff is religious-themed.”
Minotti’s company is networked with real estate agents and estate planners to help families downsize after short sales, foreclosures and deaths. Minotti is also a certified appraiser and stager, and feels like her weekend sales have become “destinations” around town.
“I just want to scream it from the rooftops,” she said. “You don’t even have to buy anything ... Just come to our estate sales and really find some quality, beautiful treasures from these families.”

Still, her inventory runs the gamut. It’s not all “museum-quality” art and relics.
“We sell everything from the toilet bowl brush to the 18th-century stained glass window,” Minotti said.
And they donate goods to community organizations, too — used glasses go to the Lions Club, other domestic goods to hospice or the Humane Society.
The reason for the abundance of “treasure” in Flagler, Minotti believes, has to do with the area’s large expatriate and ex-military population.
Visit one of her sales Dec. 16 and Dec. 17, for what Minotti calls a more “quirky,” holiday gift-themed sale. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 2613 S. Daytona Ave.
