Visiting artists from New York City will join with Trinity Presbyterian Church’s chancel choir to present Handel’s “Messiah” 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the church, 156 Florida Park Drive.

This is the fourth-annual production of the first part of the three-part production.

“I never dreamed it would become an annual event,” said Linda Hodges, director of music, at the church.

Soloists Nacole Palmer, Francesca Scott, Timothy Hodges and Jonathan Woody will perform the Christmas portion of the production alongside the Trinity chancel choir.

“This choir is so wonderful and trusts me completely,” Linda Hodges said. “(The choir) spent the entire summer learning (the performance) note by note — they came in every week during the summer.”

A 19-piece orchestra will join the voices this year for the first time.

For tickets, call the church office at 445-4757 or visit Aimee’s Hallmark, 282 Palm Coast Parkway N.E. Cost is a $15 donation.
