+ Air Force JROTC visits Jacksonville Naval station
The Flagler Palm Coast High School Air Force Junior ROTC took a field trip to the Jacksonville Naval Air Station Air Show, which was celebrating 100 years of Naval Aviation.

The 34 AFJROTC students were able to see and touch more than 30 aircraft on display from vintage bi-planes to the Navy’s F-18 fighter jet. They also observed numerous acrobatic aircraft perform flight demonstrations.

The Navy’s parachute jump team also performed despite 20 mph winds. The flight demonstrations by a P-51 Mustang, the F-4 Phantom fighter jet and the A-10 Warthog represented more than 60 years of aviation.
