+ American Eagle Sentry offers Black Friday tips
After the turkey is gone—well, after the rest of it has been put in Rubbermaid containers and stuffed in the refrigerator—many residents will be hitting the stores on Black Friday, Nov. 26, to begin their Christmas shopping.
American Eagle Sentry has published safety tips for the occasion, which is also prime time for crime:
Be aware. It can happen to you. Call 911 if you feel threatened. If you are attacked, stay calm. Keep your valuables out of sight. Shop with a friend and park under lighted areas. Beware of chatty strangers.
+ Introducing Plantation Bar & Grill, in Halifax Plantation
Plantation Bar & Grill is a new restaurant located off Exit 278 from I-95, just off Old Dixie Highway, in the Halifax Plantation Shopping Plaza. The restaurant offers a 56-seat bistro that can also accommodate large parties, wedding rehearsals and birthday and other celebrations.
Executive Chef Ravin Bissoondutt has created an eclectic menu including shrimp and grits, spicy tuna roll, hand-cut steaks and curry sea bass. Plantation Wine and Spirits located next door supplies a wine menu of 93 bottles, with more than 30 varieties served by the glass. Call 615-8948.
