The award was presented to his wife, Carrie, and his family on Jan. 25 during the awards banquet and meeting of Florida Sheriff’s in Jacksonville.
Bruno Ferreira, Damian Carter, Andrew Medearis and Kameran Gordon received the award.
The suspect also took a company gas card and deposited unauthorized company checks.
Michael Windom, 22, became the subject of an FCSO manhunt after he fled from deputies on I-95.
