A woman was arrested on the morning of Saturday, Aug. 19, after allegedly slapping her mother following an argument, according to an arrest report released by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Palm Coast resident Amy Byrum, 43, was arguing with her mother, 67-year-old Julia Clemans, over the location of misplaced Bisquick pancake mix when, in a fit of frustration, Byrum slapped Clemens in the back of the head, according to the report.

In the report, Clemans stated that there was no physical contact after the incident, although the two did continue to argue. Byrum denied any physical altercation and said she had no idea why law enforcement was called. In addition, Clemans said that Byrum had consumed half a bottle of liquor the night before. Byrum had a strong odor and slurred speech, according to the report.

Byrum was placed under arrest for domestic violence on a person 65 years or older. She was booked into the Flagler County Sheriff's Office Jail on a $1,500 bond.

The Bisquick was later found on the kitchen counter.
