If Mickey Thomas, of Starship, sang the words "We build this city on rock and ribs," it would all make sense for the city of Palm Coast.

The second-annual Rock 'n' Rib Fest featuring Starship April 9, at Town Center, drew in almost $60,000 in gross proceeds, according to data released by the city of Palm Coast.

Here are the numbers:
Gross proceeds from ticket sales: $45,567.07
Admission ticket sales: $4,812.00
Booths and sponsorships: $7,197.00
Partner contributions: $1,694.11
Amounts paid to vendors: $43,561.75
Direct paid supplies: $2,756.55
Palm Coast overtime labor: $7,594.93
Estimated tickets free: 774
Actual ticket sales: $45,567

Gross proceeds from event: $59,270.18

Excess revenue over expenses: $5,356.95
