Flagler County Supervisor of Elections Kimberle Weeks and other Florida elections supervisors on Oct. 4 traveled to Jacksonville for a roundtable on Project Integrity, an initiative to remove ineligible voters from Florida's voter rolls.

Florida’s Project Integrity, announced Sept. 11 by Secretary of State Ken Detzner, involves reviewing voter rolls with data from the Department of Homeland Security’s Alien Verification for Entitlements system.

Elections supervisors have asked for backup materials on any registered voter flagged on the Homeland Security SAVE system as a non-citizen. Similar documentation is provided when registered voters are identified as felons ineligible to vote.
