The city of Palm Coast and the Flagler County Schools present "Puss In Boots" at dusk, Friday, May 11, in Central Park in Town Center.

Admission is free for this event, a monthly movie feature that is shown on a huge screen in the stage area at the main entrance to the park. Concessions will also be available.

Friday Night Movie in Central Park is held the second Friday evening of each month in Central Park, located just north of Flagler Palm Coast High School on Bulldog Drive.

Plan to bring blankets, chairs and bug spray.

Other events this weekend are:

‘FUNCH’ — 9 a.m. to noon Saturday May 12, at Bunnell Elemrntary School, 305 N. Palmetto St., Bunnell. An event focused on “Families United for Nutrition and Community Health.” All families are asked to bring a food item to donate to the local food shelter. The purpose of the event is to get families "moving" together and to get a better understanding about basic nutrition and going green. There will be a wide array of activities.

Lupus Walk — 9 a.m. Saturday May 12, at Central Park Town Center. Check in time is 8-9 a.m. Proceeds benefit Amy Shields and her fight against Lupus. Visit www.lupuswalkpalmcoast.com or call 407-309-1489.
 

Blood Drive — 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday May 12, at Z-Best Rentals, 4876 Palm Coast Parkway.
 

Clothing/Food Giveaway — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1-3 p.m. Saturday May 12, at First Church, 91 Old Kings Road N. Hosted by the Women's Missionary Society of First Church. The clothing giveaway will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the food giveaway from 1-3 p.m. Call 446-5759.
 

‘Sing to the Lord in Tongues’ — 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday May 12, at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N. Central Ave., Flagler Beach. Various Christian groups will sing in their native languages. There will also be a variety of ethnic Christian songs in English, and Christian youth bands. Email [email protected].
 

Second Saturday: Third-annual Photography Show — 6-9 p.m. Saturday May 12, at the Flagler County Art League, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite 207C. Both photography and digital art photography will be represented, along with work by The Colored Pencil Society of America. The public is invited. Show continues through Wednesday, June 6.
 

'Love for Alyssa' Opening Reception — 6-9 p.m. Saturday May 12, at Hollingsworth Gallery, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite 209B. The show features documentary photographer Jennifer Kaczmarek’s project "Love for Alyssa," which focuses on 8-year-old Alyssa Hagstrom, who was born with arthrogryposis. (For the story, click here)
