Voices join together in song in Flagler Beach

The 7th Flagler Ecumenical Celebration of Unity in Prayer and Song, was held on Saturday, Jan. 23, at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church in Flagler Beach. The choirs joined together to sing the entrance song, “All Are Welcome.”

Per Berg sponsors the bridge club, and Raianne Heading, an FPC senior, assists him as the club president.

Berg has been teaching bridge for six years and has had up to six students play at national bridge tournaments in spectacular locations such as Las Vegas and Atlanta. It is not hard to tell that he enjoys what he does, and cannot be happier talking about some of the feats his students have achieved.

Raianne is a senior at FPC, and has been in the bridge club for two years, and has been playing the game for about five years. She won quite a few tournaments including a tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As Raianne said, It is not for old ladies anymore.”
