The following is an adapted press release from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office:
UPDATE: Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies have identified Friday's apparent suicide victim as Jeffrey Biermann, 41, of Palm Coast. The Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
Initial reports from the scene describe the victim as a male in his mid to late 20s who died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.
The body was discovered around 7:26 a.m. by city of Palm Coast workers, at the Indian Trails Sports Complex, in Palm Coast.
