The city of Palm Coast’s municipal access cable television channel, TV199, recently earned recognition with three honorable mention awards from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors.

“TV199 strives to provide a wide variety of distinctive programs that inform, educate and entertain,” said Tom Hanson, video production coordinator. “We’re grateful to be recognized amidst a field of outstanding nationally renowned government programming contenders.”

The station accepted awards in both documentary event coverage and ethnic experience for “Unity Through Education,” the NAACP Centennial Celebration held in 2009, at the Flagler Auditorium.
