The following is  an adapted news release from Flagler Schools

Flagler Schools has been made aware of a person contacting local businesses selling banner advertising at Flagler Palm Coast High School’s football stadium.

It is the policy of Flagler Palm Coast High School’s athletic department that all advertising and banner sales go through the athletic department and not a third-party vendor. This person has not contacted Flagler Schools about their service, is not affiliated with the district and has no advertising contract with any of the schools.

Anyone who has received correspondence from a person or company outside of Flagler Schools offering advertising and banner space, is asked to contact Flagler Schools attorney Kristy Gavin at 437-7526, ext. 3130.

Flagler Schools has made the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office aware of this situation, and anyone who has paid an outside company or person making such promises is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at, 437-4116.

Any questions regarding the legitimacy of an advertising offer at a Flagler County school, can be made by calling the involved school directly.
