Before former Jacksonville Jaguar Tony Boselli relinquished his microphone Thursday, June 2, at the Team Teal Tailgate, he led the crowd in the “We Are Jaguars” chant.

The event, hosted by Flagler County and the city of Palm Coast with the Jacksonville Jaguars drew a crowd of about 350, beating out Clay County for the largest attendance in a five-county area.

Officials told attendees that the Flagler tailgate was the best anyone had had for them and promised to come back during the season with players.

“It was a great effort on everybody’s part,” said Lisa Gardner, city of Palm Coast events coordinator. “It’s nice to be able to have events when (vendors) come out free of charge.”

In addition to hosting the site of the tailgate, Woody’s Bar-B-Q also gave out 200 dinners.
