With the line of people waiting to vote wrapped around the front and west side of the Government Services Building, Tax Collector Suzanne Johnston made the decision to limit services at the main office “until further notice” to accommodate the extra traffic at the building.

While tag renewal and tax payments are still available at the Government Services Building, more time-consuming services — like drivers licenses — will be handled at the Flagler Beach branch, 2525 Moody Blvd., Flagler Beach.

“Voting is so important, we are willing to do anything we can to accommodate it,” Johnston said. “Anything we can do to help our residents.”

Johnston noted that residents can take care of much of their business with the Tax Collector’s Office online, over the phone, or by mail at the following: www.flaglertax.com; 386-313-4160; or 2525 Moody Blvd., Flagler Beach, FL 32136.
