Flagler Auditorium

The premier Yacht Rock tribute band, Summer Breeze, brings its cool, soft rock sounds to Flagler Auditorium on June 26 at 7:30 p.m.

The Auditorium invites Palm Coasters to don their best summer leisure wear (Hawaiian shirts are encouraged) for this retro escape to the mellow, emblematic sounds of the 1970s and 1980s popularized by artists such as Steely Dan, Ambrosia, Christopher Cross, and Boz Scaggs. For tickets call 386-437-7547 or visit www.flaglerauditorium.org.

Dressed in fashion honoring the yacht rock tradition, the ensemble brings together 10 of the country’s most versatile singers and instrumentalists. They are all masters of the West Coast sound commonly associated with soft rock. Writes one critic, “These are the songs that washed clean the pop charts with calm grooves, sunny production, and breezy melodies.”

Special outdoor entertainment is planned prior to the show. Members of the Palm Coast Yacht Club will be present to inform concert-goers about boating opportunities in the area and information about the popular annual Palm Coast Holiday Boat Parade, scheduled this year for Dec. 18. The Palm Coast Tourist Development Council will be on-site as well.

The performance is sponsored by Jeff Evans State Farm Insurance and Boston Whaler. Both have partnered with the Auditorium to support its artistic mission of serving the community. Says Auditorium Director Amelia Fulmer, “Come meet these great businesses and thank them for their endorsement of the Auditorium and our community.”

In accordance with CDC guidelines, the Auditorium audience will be at 50% capacity.  Health screening, temperature checks, and face coverings are required. The Auditorium employs a newly installed state-of-the-art circulating clean air system utilizing Global Plasma Technology. Face coverages are encouraged but not required.
