Students hone talents at Flagler Playhouse camp

The practice room at the Flagler Playhouse was overflowing with aspiring thespians Monday morning practicing for their upcoming showcase.

The musical theatre camp at the playhouse is split into three age divisions and three focus points of acting, singing and dancing taught by Jamie Irvine, Bruce Popielarski and Ann Paris and for the past three week, they have been honing in on the talents of each student. A showcase of student talents, ranging from large group numbers to solos and monologues will be 4 p.m. Friday, June 17 and 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at the Flagler Playhouse, 301 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or at flaglerplayhouse.com.
