Students forecast America's future

In the Voice of Democracy Speech contest, Flagler Palm Coast High School students were asked to describe their generation’s role in America’s future.

The VFW gave out awards Dec. 6 to the top speechwriters.

First place went to Brett Swartz. Caitlin Byttner was second, Yeovanti Williams third, Ester-Rose Safaite fourth and Aaron Pearson fifth.
