Special Olympics golf tournament draws 144 players to Ocean Course

A foursome sponsored by Palm Coast Ford took first place in the Special Olympics golf tournament June 5, at the Ocean Course at Hammock Beach.

Nate Ross, Eric Vincent, Jason Green and Ted Lawrence were the winners in the 144-player tournament.

The group of Fred Kleinfelder, Patrick Kleinfelder, Brian Sheekey and Tom Murray finished second, while De Anderson, Jerry Edwards, Larry Giudi and Rodney Russell finished third.

The funds will help support athletics the programs offered to the 287 Special Olympics athletes in Flagler County.
