Southern States Management Group celebrates 31st anniversary with GOAT Award

Southern States Management Group Inc., a “lifestyle management” firm serving Volusia and Flagler counties, celebrated its 31st anniversary this October. The group manages over 15,000 local homes in the area.

This year, the leadership team implemented the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) Award. Employees nominated a fellow co-worker who goes above and beyond, who is always willing to support and who demonstrates the positive qualities of a SSMG team member.

Valerie “Cissy” Steger was awarded the GOAT Award for 2020, receiving a traveling trophy. Steger also received her license in Community Association Management in October 2020. 

Also noted: Carsten Georg became a Licensed Real Estate Agent in October 2020 and Coleen Washington is now a Licensed Community Manager.
