In a round-robin playoff, the sophomore powder-puff team edged out the juniors for a 7-0 win.

Previously in the night, the sophomores squeaked by the seniors 7-0, and the juniors blew out the freshmen, 42-7.

All games played consisted of two 10-minute halves, with the preliminary games starting on the 30-yard line at each change of possession.

The decision was made to allow for more scoring in the game, said Jodi Mulvihill, student government advisor.

The championship game was played on a full field.
