Sidewalk reconstruction begins on Colbert Lane

The work began north of Grand Haven and will take about a month.

Flagler County began sidewalk reconstruction work north of the Grand Haven community on Colbert Lane on Thursday, Oct. 8.

“Walkers and bicyclists in the area should expect intermittent sidewalk closures,” said Heidi Petito, Interim Chief of Staff.

The work – which began north of Grand Haven and will continue southward – should take about one month, weather permitting. Crews will remove areas of damaged sidewalk, re-frame the section, and finish the concrete work.

“We are sorry about the inconvenience to residents and appreciate everyone’s patience,” Petito said. “The improvements will be nice when they are completed.”
