Many employees will receive a 4% raise.

￼The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the Coastal Florida Police Benevolent Association & Public Employees Association have signed a new three-year contract for law enforcement deputies up to the rank of sergeant and select staff personnel Thursday at the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Operations building.
After successful negotiations and ratification by the Costal Florida Police Benevolent Association & Public Employees Association membership, a law enforcement and staff agreement was signed by Sheriff James L. Manfre and Benevolent Association Chapter President Kimberly Kilpatrick. The detention contract was not ratified by the Costal Florida Police Benevolent Association & Public Employees Association membership and will be reopened for negotiations in the coming weeks.
“The step plan in this contract recreates a step plan much like I had implemented in my first term as sheriff," Sheriff James L. Manfre said. "The step plan rewards employees for longevity and is necessary for future retention of our employees. This is the first major pay raise for my employees in six years. For four straight years, employees received no raises. In 2013 they received a $1,125 pay raise and in 2014 they received a 1% pay increase. On average, most employees will receive a much-needed 4% raise in this new contract. I appreciate the cooperation of the CFPBA in coming to this much-deserved agreement.”

"We thank the Sheriff and his team for working with us and helping secure a meaningful decompression plan for wages in the FCSO and to usher in a Step Pay Plan that ensures members will be rewarded for their good service to the citizens in future years. These agreements are a significant step forward for these hardworking employees."
