Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investing a Friday evening incident in which a 29-year-old Palm Coast man reported being robbed as he walked out of an oceanfront park in Palm Coast, according to a Sheriff’s Office release.

The victim told deputies that around 9:05 p.m., as he was walking on the northern side of
16th Road towards North Oceanshore Boulevard, two men approached him.

After passing by, one of the men then struck him in the back of the head and punched him in the face before pushing him into a nearby palm tree. The other robber held him in a “bear hug” while his partner went through the victim’s pockets, taking his cash.

One robber is described as being 45-50 years of age, about 6 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing between 300 and 350 pounds. He was bald and had a white and black chest-length beard.

The second robber was described as being 40-45 years of age, about 6 feet, 3 inches tall, with a slender build and unshaven face. He had brown hair and an unknown tattoo on the throat area.
