UPDATE: 5:45 p.m. Dec. 14:

All phone lines at the Sheriff's Office have been restored and are working properly, according to a Sheriff's Office news release issued at about 5 p.m. Dec. 14.

ORIGINAL POST:

The following is a news release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office:

The administrative, non-emergency phone lines at the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Operations Center and the county jail have not been working properly since late the afternoon of Friday, Dec. 11.

When someone calls the Sheriff's Office's non-emergency numbers, the caller has been receiving a fast busy signal. The 911 phone lines have not been affected.

If calling any Flagler County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line and you receive a fast busy signal, hang up and call 386-313-4911. This number rings into our communications center.

The issue has been reported to the phone company and they are working to resolve the matter.

We do not have a time frame from the phone company for when the issue will be resolved.
