Sheriff Rick Staly elected vice chair of the Florida Sheriff’s Association board of directors

Staly has served on the FSA board for the past two years.

Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly was elected vice chair of the Florida Sheriff’s Association's board of directors during the FSA's annual meeting in Orlando on July 26.

“It is my honor to serve my fellow sheriffs in this role,” Staly said, according to an FCSO news release. “I look forward to assisting the board chair during the next year and working with my fellow sheriffs as we keep Florida safe together.”

Staly and other FSA officers and directors of FSA were sworn in by Gov. Ron DeSantis during the closing banquet, according to the news release.

Staly has served on the board of directors for the past two years. He is the first Flagler County sheriff elected as vice chair.
