After eight years, Kenny Seybold has stepped down as Matanzas’ athletics director, the school announced Thursday.
Seybold, who has been splitting time as athletics director and assistant principal, will now take on a full-time role as assistant principal.
“Dr. (Chris) Pryor (Matanzas’ principal) has asked me to take on more of role in our school’s curriculum and professional development for our teachers next year,” Seybold wrote in an email.
Bob Nocella will take over as Matanzas’ athletics director. Nocella previously was athletics director at Flagler Palm Coast.
The moves will take effect June 7, according to the email.
