James Matta noticed a brown spot in his toilet bowl Dec. 17. Upon further inspection, Matta noticed it was an intruder: There was a frog in the toilet.

Knowing his wife, Arlene, was paranoid about even the smallest bug, James was concerned when the frog began climbing the wall. Finally, Matta was able to trap the fat amphibian.

“The poor thing must have been traveling through the sewer system all this time, and every time you flush, he gets pushed back,” Matta said. “He must have been a powerful swimmer.”
