School supply drives held in Ormond Beach, Palm Coast

Boys and Girls Clubs of Volusia/Flagler Counties is partnering with Cory’s Affordable Computers to gather supplies for local students.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Volusia/Flagler Counties is holding a back-to-school supplies drive in partnership with Cory’s Affordable Computers in Ormond Beach and Palm Coast through Friday, Aug. 19.

People who buy school supplies and drop them off at Cory’s Affordable Computers will receive a free full computer diagnosis, virus scan and system tune up, according to a press release from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Volusia/Flagler Counties.

Supplies can be dropped off at the Cory’s Affordable Computer location at 36 Wood Arbor Lane in Palm Coast or the location at 767 S. Nova Road in Ormond Beach.

Requested school supplies are:

  • 1 Personal Size Hand Sanitizer 
  • 1 Package of Disinfectant Wipes 
  • 1 Box of Tissues 
  • 1 Backpack 
  • 1 Package of No. 2 Pencils 
  • 1 Supply/Pencil Pouch 
  • 1 Pink or White Eraser 
  • 1 Hand Held Pencil Sharpener 
  • 1 Package of Pens: Red, Blue or Black 
  • 1 Package of Colored Pencils 
  • 1 Package of Highlighters 
  • 1 Package of Markers 
  • 1 12 inch Ruler 
  • 3 Pocket Folders with Brads Assorted Colors 
  • 1 Single Subject Spiral Notebooks 
  • 1 Package of Sticky Notes Assorted Colors 
  • 1 Package of Loose Leaf Paper 
  • 1 Package of Dividers 
  • 1 inch 3 Ring Binder 
  • 1 Student Planner 
  • 1 USB Flash Drive 
  • 1 Pocket Dictionary 
  • 1 Pocket Thesaurus 
  • 1 Box of Crayons 24/Pkg
