Flagler Schools is putting the property at 1 Corporate Drive up for sale, and will hold a pre-bid conference at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Government Services Building at 1769 E. Moody Blvd. in Bunnell.

The property had not been on the market when Michael Collard Properties, the Winter Park-based developer responsible for the redevelopment of the Island Walk Shopping Center on Palm Coast Parkway, offered the district $1.8 million for the 7.4-acre vacant plot of land last year.

At the time, the board decided not to move forward with a sale because they wanted to have the property appraised and inventory the district’s capital project needs first. The property will be appraised by three appraisal firms, and the board is preparing to accept bids, due by 2 p.m. May 23.

Board members decided against setting a minimum bid amount because they did not want to skew bid results or pick a price before the appraisals come back in.

Parcel information and the official bid form is available at bit.ly/2FmKO9E.
