The following was sent to the Palm Coast Observer as a press release, from Flagler Broadcasting.

Due to a spike of Covid-19 cases in Flagler County this Monday, the decision was made to reschedule the event for Saturday, Oct. 17.

Flagler County Dept. Of Health Officer Bob Snyder along with Flagler Broadcasting VP/General Manager David Ayres agreed on the decision.

Jerry Cameron, Flagler County administrator said, “With the relaxing of social distancing and lack of facial covering in Flagler County, it’s not a surprise.”

Rockin’ The Runways was a two-night charity fundraiser originally scheduled for June 26-27, with strict social distancing and required mask wearing. The event was to feature tribute bands playing music by Journey and Electric Light Orchestra, with a Santore fireworks display both nights.

Ticket holders will get a two-for-one in October with both playing all in one night.

Flagler Executive Airport Director Roy Sieger was disappointed in the postponement but supported the decision in the interest of public safety.
