Flagler County reminds residents who are interested in vehicle and pedestrian safety in the area of Beverly Beach to attend an upcoming meeting hosted by the Florida Department of Transportation.

The public hearing slated for 5:30 p.m. July 15 will provide project plans for State Road A1A from north of Ocean Marina Drive to south of Westmayer Place.

“The purpose of this project is to enhance vehicular and pedestrian safety in the Town of Beverly Beach. Project plans include repaving S.R. A1A within the project limits as well as operational improvements to enhance mobility along the corridor” the FDOT release states. “Improvements for pedestrian visibility and connectivity are also being proposed.”

The public hearing is being held to present information and receive community feedback.

FDOT is offering multiple ways for the community to participate in the hearing. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will participate in the same live hearing.
