Precious Hearts Foundation gets a boost from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The church's women's organization, the Relief Society, collected 500 items in two months.

The women of the Bunnell congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated over 500 needed items to Precious Hearts Foundation, a local nonprofit, faith-based organization that provides safety and support to victims of domestic violence.

The women collected shoes, interview attire and career wear over a two-month period. The service project culminated on Oct. 15 with an evening of fellowship, along with the presentation of their efforts to the founder of Precious Hearts, Elva Thompson.
