A group of Portuguese women in Palm Coast have made a tradition of celebrating Friendship Day, normally observed annually in the Azores and continental Portugal, by going out for breakfast or lunch each month.

Last time saw them at the Dunkin' Donuts at 1310 Palm Coast Parkway SW for breakfast. The women, brought together by Mary Jo Goulart, connect over their shared culture as well as their personal lives, and anyone is free to join their unofficial group. Those interested can call Isabel Mariano at (732) 513-5478.
