The planned 10 a.m. opening was delayed until around 1 p.m. due to a delay in the shipment of fryer parts. The restaurant's regular hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.

The new Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen location in Palm Coast will open at 10 a.m. this Sunday, Jan. 19.
The restaurant is at 6130 State Road 100 in the Kings Pointe Commercial Subdivision, on the north side of S.R. 100 east of its intersection with Old Kings Road.
This is the first Popeyes in Flagler County: The next-nearest locations are in Daytona Beach, in Volusia County; and East Palatka, in Putnam County.
Popeyes had applied for a $500,000 permit in the commercial subdivision this past summer.
