Popeye’s fries up plans for SR 100 in Palm Coast

Also in permits: two more restaurants, vape shops, assisted living

Three restaurants have applied for permits from the city of Palm Coast recently:

  • Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen applied for a $500,000 permit at Kings Pointe Commercial Subdivision, 6130 State Road 100, Palm Coast.
  • Don Luigi’s Gourmet Kitchen, a restaurant, has applied for permit in Cobblestone Village, 260 Cypress Edge Drive, Unit 204, near Walmart.
  • Emilio’s Pizza, a takeout restaurant, has applied for a permit at 1755 Palm Harbor Parkway.

The nearest Popeye's to Palm Coast is in Palatka. Emilio's Pizza is the latest in a series of pizza places at the BP gas station.

Assisted living

A $21 million permit has been requested for Azure of Palm Coast Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility, at 144 Cypress Point Parkway.

Vape shops

Fog Room Vapor Co., a night club, vapor lounge and bar, has applied for a permit at 160 Cypress Point Parkway,  Building D, Suites 103-104.

Johnny Copper Vapor Co., a vape shop with no tobacco, has applied for a permit at 5 Utility Drive.

Amenity center

A technical site plan was approved for the amenity center at Phase 1 of Sawmill Creek, on the west side of U.S. 1 about one-half mile north of Matanzas Woods Parkway. The amenity center will have a pool, clubhouse and a mail kiosk to serve the 259 single-family homes in Phase 1.

Dentist

Little Smiles Dental Clinic has applied for a permit at Palm Coast Crossing, 3 Old Kings Road.
