A 27-year-old Holly Hill man was arrested Monday evening for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after the man was stopped for reckless driving, according to a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a gas station on Boulder Rock Drive around 9:27 p.m. after receiving reports of an apparent drunk driver who had left Interstate 95 and headed westbound on Palm Coast Parkway.

Deputies located the vehicle at the gas station with the driver, William Joseph Corrigan, sitting inside the vehicle and the motor running. Inside the vehicle, deputies found knives, a gun and a locked black bag.

Inside the bag, there were batteries, needles, butane and other items consistent with manufacturing methamphetamine. Deputies also found methamphetamine in a pill box as well as cocaine and other narcotics, according to the release.

Corrigan was also charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of cocaine.

He was booked into the Flagler County Inmate Facility where he is being held in lieu of $17,000 bond.
