Philippine-American Association wins best of Flagler parade

Blue skies were in attendance for this year's Fourth of July Parade.

With rain at bay, spectators lined the streets of A1A  for the annual Fourth of July Parade in Flagler Beach. Hosted by the Flagler Beach Rotary, the parade featured floats depicting “the Good Ole Summer Time.”

The winners from 2011 parade were as follows:
Best of Parade — Philippine-American Association
Most Original — Sunshine Academy
Marching First Place — Sea Goddess and Sacred Belly Dancers
Marching Second Place — Flagler County Detachment 876 Marine Corps. League
Marching Third Place — Boy Scout Troop 281 of Palm Coast
Best Depicting Theme — Palm Coast Gymnastics
Second Place Theme — Flagler Fun Coast Bed Race
Third Place Theme — Boggin' in Bunnell Mud Bogs
